This is a fantastic multipurpose press that can be used for: bookmaking, printmaking, pressed plants, collage, stamps, tearing straight/deckled edges. The robust construction and smooth turning spindle apply great pressure easily by hand. The 3/8” thick 6061 aluminum press plate insures uniform pressure over the entire surface.
Finished with several coats of polyurethane, and hand polished.

SMALL PRESS

Maple cross bar (laminated for additional strength) plus a maple base. The uprights, top plate and bottom plate are a dense multi-ply Baltic birch.
