Talas - Lascaux Acrylic Adhesive 498 HV

A thermoplastic copolymer butyl-methacrylate dispersion, thickened with acrylic butyl-ester. pH of 8-9 and is biocide stabilized. Has a strong elongation at break, suitable for wet and dry applications. Water thinable, insoluble in water when dry. Permanently soluble in acetone, toluene, xylene, etc. Insoluble in White spirits, V.M.&P. Naptha, etc.

Minimum film formation temperature (MFT): approx. 5 degrees C.

Glass transition temperature: approx. 6 degrees C.

Elongation at break: 400%

Minumim sealing temperature: approx. 68-76 degrees C.

Dry film consistency: elastic hard
