Manufactured in Italy and widely used throughout Europe, these premixed colors are specifically prepared for painting restoration. They are made of the purest and finest pigments and mastic resin in turpentine with the total exlusion of oils.

Colors can be blended with additional quantities of varnish if required. They can also serve as a base for the artist's own mixtures.

They will adhere to any ground, are quick drying and when used without additives, produce a moderately matte surface. Once dried they do not change tone, but are always soluble and can be removed with petroleum spirits.

Packed in 20 ml. tubes. The (O), (SO), and (T) refer to opaque, semi-opaque, and transparent respectively).
