We now stock a wide variety of silicone coated polyester films. This clear film is dimensionally stable and will not wrinkle from application of heat, making it suitable for use in vacuum hot tables, where a transparent membrane that will not stick to surfaces is required. It is also suitable for many other applications, such as wrapping, covering work surfaces, humidification, etc. where a non stick barrier is to be achieved.
Should the need arise for a membrane wider than 63", our film coated one side film can easily be joined with the use of our silicone tape.
The film which is .0015" thick is referred to one and a half mil, and the .0005" is referred to as half mil.
